You can see her from my window. “She” being the cathedral of Segovia. Officially called the Santa Iglesia Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción y San Frutos, she’s also known as La Catedral de Santa Maria, and affectionately referred to as “La Dama de las Catedrales”. Very dignified.
I think of her more as the mysterious old lady on the hill, past the aqueduct. This afternoon she was looking quite lovely, veiled by falling snow, fading in and out of the mist.
In other news, the storks are back. Don’t know why. They look cold.
